This is a merry go round that was at the louisville zoo in kentucky, usa. It was actually specifically called a mary lee we go around, created by a mary lee and her husband in 1919. I’m not sure if the music is similar or the same as the music used when it was made but it seems like if it wasn’t it was made to feel like it could be. There’s music in this recording as well as some people talking in the background.
In a "tunnel of horrors", or, as it's called in german, in a "geisterbahn" at the "maientage" in berlin-neukölln. Some reactions of the people, like laughing and scared sounds, are audible. Recorded with an iphone 7.
Winding the hand crank of a 1909 tabletop victor ii phonograph and letting the turntable spin. Recorded with a tascam dp-24sd using two akg c 414 b-uls mics.
A mix of sounds to create the experience and sounds of going through a walk. This creation was done in the music appreciation class at loyola high school.
